Negeri Sembilan vs Melaka United

Melaka United continued their series of friendly matches with a 3-2 victory playing against Malaysian Premier League side, Negeri Sembilan FA at Paroi Stadium last night. Ex Negeri Sembilan striker, Marko Simic was given his debut alongside winger, Azinee Taib from JDT II.

A high tempo match at the sound of the whistle. On the 16th minute,Jeon’s freekick found Simic but his header went wide. On the 23rd minute, Fauzi Roslan’s attempt went above the crossbar after receiving a fine throughball from Felipe. 29th minutes, Simic attempted a scissors kick from a R. Surendran’s cross but was saved by the Negeri Sembilan goalkeeper. In the 44th minute, new signing Jonathan Behe broke the deadlock through a deflection from a corner kick. It ended 1-0 in the first half.

Nur Hakim Isa came in for Azinee in the second half. On form, Bruno Suzuki added Negeri Sembilan’s second goal through a header in the 46th minutes. Felipe got one back for Melaka United after one two with Fauzi Roslan, in the 49th minutes making the scoreline 2-1. On the 71st minute, Suren pounced on a flick header from Izzaq Faris to score the equalizer with a volley for Melaka United. Jasmir Mehat scored Melaka United’s winning goal after Simic’s attempt was blocked by Negeri Sembilan’s goalkeeper.
